Srinagar, Oct 09 (KS): The Meteorological Office in Srinagar predicted light snowfall over the higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday evening.
Talking to the news agency Kashmir Scroll, Director of the Meteorological Department, Sonam Lotus, said that as already predicted, light to moderate rain in the plains of Jammu and Kashmir has been witnessed since morning at different locations in the UT. He, how’ver, said that with the higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir will likely witness light snowfall from today evening onwards.
He said currently it’s raining at most of the places in J&K. (KS).
