Srinagar, Jan 16 (KS): A soldier who alongside another colleague sustained injuries in a road accident in Poonch, has succumbed, an official said.
The official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that two army men were injured after a water-tanker they were in rolled down into a gorge at Kausalian sector.
“The injured army personnel were taken to a hospital where one of them succumbed to his injuries”, the official said adding the other injured is undergoing treatment at a military hospital.
“The deceased has been identified as Preetam Singh and the injured as Abdul Manan”, the official added. (KS)
