Srinagar: Residents of Warpora in north Kashmir Saturday took to streets to protest against prolonged power outrages and water shortages in the area.
Reports suggest that protesting residents blocked Sopore-Bandipora road at Warpora to register their protest against water and power crisis in the area since weeks together.
Local sources informed Kashmir Reader that protestors shouted slogans against government for allegedly failing to provide them basic facilities.
Later they said that the protesters dispersed after they were given assurances by Station House officer (SHO) Warpora.
