Sopore, 26 Oct : An army soldier of 22 Rashtriya Rifles received Injuries in an ongoing operation in Sopore village of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on morning Friday.
Reports reaching GNS said that one army soldier of 22 Rashtriya Rifles received Injuries in intial exchange of firing which broke out in wee hours of Friday after forces launched a cordon-and-search-operation on a tip-off about the presence of militants in Pazalpora area of Sopore.
SSP Sopore Javid Iqbal also confirmed the incident to GNS and said that the Injured solidier was immediately evacuated to military hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile the army official identified injured soldier as Brejesh Kumar and said that his condition is said to be stable.
