Sopore, Dec 14 : A moderate shutdown is being witnessed in Sopore and its adjoining areas to mourn the killing of two local Lashkar militants.
Reports reaching to Kashmir Despatch said that a moderate shutdown is being observed in parts of Sopore, Zaingeer belt to mourn the killing of two local Lashkar-e-Toiba militants slain Owaise Ahmed Bhat who was killed along with his associates Tahir Ahmed Dar in an encounter at Gund Mohalla area of Brath Sopore on Thursday.
All business establishments are closed in the town while think movement of public and private transport is plying on the roads in the town.
Meanwhile authorities have decided to suspend class work in all educational institutions across Sopore Sub division today as a precautionary measure.
However authorities on late Thursday restored internet services in parts of Sopore which was snapped following encounter.
