SOPORE : Sopore Police received an information through reliable sources regarding smuggling of an illicit timber at village Dalri Rafiabad.
A team of Police Station Dangiwacha headed by SHO Police Station Dangiwacha Insp. Imtiyaz Ahmad under the close supervision of SDPO Rafiabad Shri. Nissar Ahmad-JKPS rushed to the spot and recovered 08 logs of illicit timber from the house of Tariq Ahmad Malik S/O Ghulam Rasool Malik R/O Dalri Rafiabad.
In this connection case FIR No. 105/2021 U/S 379 IPC and 6 Forest Act was registered at Police Station Dangiwacha and further investigation has been initiated.
General Public is also requested to extend cooperation to the Sopore Police and come forward with any information regarding any kind of illegal activity in their neighborhood.
