Sopore, 30 June 2022:A joint Police team of Police Station Dangiwacha and Police Post Watergam under under command and control of SDPO Rafiabad conducted raids at Nallah Hamal Yarbugh , seized 12 tractors, which were engaged in illicit mining of minerals from the Nallah.
Accordingly, case FIR No. 76/2022 under relevant sections of law of Indian Penal Code has been registered at Police Station Dangiwacha.
All members of the public are urged in public interest to adhere to the law and the terms and conditions of their permits, wherever applicable, and to not destroy the ecology of their areas by engaging in illicit mining of minerals.
