March 07: Police in Sopore solved a burglary case by arresting two accused persons involved in the crime.
Stolen property worth lacs was also recovered.Police Station Sopore received a complaint from Ghulam Nabi Sheikh regarding burglary in his residential house at Alsafa Colony Sopore.Accordingly a case FIR No. 38/2020 under relevant sections of law was registered in Police Station Sopore and investigation was initiated in the matter.
During the course of investigation, officers were able to identify two individuals identified as Owais Ahmad Lone and Zakir Ahmad Lone both residents of Astanpora Achabal involved in the commission of crime. Both the accused persons were arrested and shifted to Police Station where they remain in custody.
Officers were also able to recover the stolen property.In a separate action, Sopore Police arrested a person identified as Irfan Gassi resident of Kralteng Sopore who was involved in a series of theft cases in Sopore area and recovered stolen property.General public of the area applauded the professional and sincere efforts made by the Sopore Police in arresting the involved accused persons and in recovering stolen properties.
