Kulgam 30 May【KNZ】:The pen down strike by Patwaries across Jammu and Kashmir started on 14 ,on Tuesday in Dc office Mini Secretariat Kulgam they protested against government for not fullfilling their demands The Patwaries under the banner of ‘All J&K Patwar Association’ held protest demonstrations at mini Secretariat.
The south Kashmir of All Jammu and Kashmir Patwari Association participated in it( Pulwama, Shopian, Anantnag and Kulgam as directed by honourable provincial of AJKPA Fayaz Ahmad Baba Raising pro-justice slogans, the association threatened to intensify the protests in case the government did not break its “silence” over their demands.
President of the association of Kulgam shabir Ahmad lone said: “We are holding protest demonstrations across the state to get the attention of government towards to our genuine and long pending demands.”
He said: “We have time and again taken up our demands with the government. Despite assurances and promises, nothing so far has been done,” he said. He informed that their demands include grade pay of graduate patwaris 2400 to 2800 abolishing direct recruitment of naib tehsildars, timely conducted DPC of patwaris/GQS/NTS, creation of Patwari halqas/GQ Circles rent for private accommodation as Patwaries use it for patwar office we cannot compromise grade pay of graduate
Patwaries,aboltion of direct recruitment of NTS creation of Gg circles ,The Patwaries under the banner ‘All J&K Patwar, He further said that due to bad approach of government towards Patwari association general public is suffering badly,when government will fulfill our genuine demands then we will fully focus on public issues on day and night hours we apologize for inconvenience of general public.【KNZ】
