Samba June 24 (KS) : Samba Police has arrested two husbands including one Special Police Officer (SPO) for brutally beating up and severely injuring their wives.
A senior police officer told news agency— Kashmir Scroll that One grievously injured woman has sustained fracture in right arm among other injuries and is admitted in Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu.
The officer added arrested cruel husbands, who, under the influence of liquor, assaulted their own wives and grievously injured them have been identified as Ajmeer Singh, son of Jagdish Singh of Budhwani, Samba and Ravi Kumar (SPO), son of Madan Lal of Swankha, Ramgarh.
Rajni Sambyal, wife of Ajmeer Singh of Budhwani, Samba has sustained fracture in right arm among other severe injuries and is admitted to GMC Jammu due to murderous attack under the influence of liquor by none other than her own husband who is auto-driver, whereas Shalo Devi, wife of Ravi Kumar (SPO) of Swankha, Ramgarh has sustained severe blunt injuries with lathis, kicks and blows due to assault by her own life-partner under the influence of liquor.
Two separate cases under FIR Numbers 156/2023 and 35/2023 have been registered at Police Station Samba and Police Station Ramgarh respectively on the written complaints of victim wives the officer added—(KS)
