PAMPORE, October 01 A 20 years old youth died after a tipper, he was traveling turned turtle in Pampore area of south Kashmir.
The deceased has been identified as Basit Farooq son of Farooq Ahmad Najar resident of Alochibagh Batamaloo, Srinagar. The deceased was 1st year student of degree college Bemina , police officials told The accident happened when the driver of a Tipper bearing registration number JK04B-1155 with one person turned turtle late Saturday evening near Patrol Pump Saboora, resulting in on spot death of Basit Farooq.
A police party reached the spot and shifted the body to SD hospital Pampore for medical formalities.
Police Pampore registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, DC Pulwama Mr. G.M. Dar reached Pampore police station and asked SHO Pampore Adil Rashid not to conduct Postmortem of the deceased as requested by the family members of the deceased.
