March 08: Continuing with its public outreach programme, Srinagar police held an interactive meeting with community members at Sub-Divsional Police Office Sadder, Srinagar. The meeting was chaired by SDPO Sadder alongwith SHO Police Station Sadder and DO Chanapora.The meeting was attended by the community members of Chanapora, Natipora and Baghi Mehtab areas.
The meeting was organized to facilitate interaction with community members and redress their issues so as to create cordial police-public relationship.During the meeting, participants raised various issues including drug menace, traffic congestion in the area, besides other issues including parking space and other related issues.
The officers present during the meeting assured the participants that Police is keen to resolve the issues pertaining to the locality on priority. Officers also assured them that police is working continuously to curb the criminal activities and sought their cooperation in eradicating drug menace from the area. Issues related to parking and congestion have to be resolved jointly with community members.
The participants hailed the efforts of police in facilitating interaction meets where participants express their opinion freely. The participants thanked & assured full cooperation to curb the social evils in the area.
