Srinagar NOV 21 (KNZ):Students of SSM college of engineering and technology Parihaspora are up in arms against the college administration for allegedly charging them ‘disproportionate’ fee.
Students of the college said, “College administration is demanding bus maintenance fee and they charge us 500 Rupees per month from August 2019 to Dec 2020.This is unacceptable.How can they charge us hefty amount when we have’t used the transport service for all these months..
“During lockdown everyone has struggled financially but the college official are very insensitive to understand that .They instead demand us unresonable amount of fee.”They added.
The students also said that in the name of registration fee we pay 1700 Ruppes per semester but they don’t provide us proper receipt and then we pay 500 more as registration in respective departments.The college admin should clear what actually are we paying for?
Student said that they pay 45000 as tuition fee but still they be are being asked to pay unduly.
A delegation of SSM college of engineering and technology students visited office of Dean colleges Universityof Kashmir and raised the queries with the Dean.KNZ
