Ganderbal October 02(KNZ):Senior Superintendent of Police Ganderbal Shri. Nikhil Borkar-IPS held a detailed interaction with various members associated with print and electronic media at District Police Headquarters Ganderbal.
While highlighting the role of media as a 4th pillar of democracy, SSP Ganderbal said that media has played a crucial role in bringing out positivity to the masses and proved as an agency of change.
He also hailed journalists for helping Police eradicate social evils/crimes and stressed on more and more mutual cooperation for the betterment of the society. He also assured the meeting that all the issues raised by the fraternity would be taken care of at the earliest.
Senior officers of District Police including Additional Superintendent of Police Ganderbal, DySP HQRs Ganderbal, DySP PC Ganderbal SHO Police Station Ganderbal also attended the interactive meeting.
The meeting ended with a vote of thanks by the members of media fraternity.KNZ
