Ganderbal 26 Mar (KNZ):Under Civic Action Program; today on 26-03-2023 SSP Ganderbal Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS inaugurated Football Tournament at Gadoora Stadium Ganderbal in which 08 teams belonging to different areas of the District will participate with huge fervour & enthusiasm.
The tournament witnessed huge response of the District Players, who will participate with whole heartedly in the event.
During his inaugural address, SSP Ganderbal appreciated all the teams for taking part in the various sports events held by District Police Ganderbal. He also stressed upon the young & budding players of the District to allow their minds to explore their own thoughts and imagination through the medium of sports.
The inaugural match was played between FC Hyderia Tulmulla Vs FC Safapora which was won by FC Hyderia Tulmulla by 6:1.
It is pertinent to mention here that Ganderbal Police is organising different sports events, like volleyball tournament, football tournament, cultural programmes, and other Co-curricular activities in the District for upliftment of sports among the youth. The main aim & motive of organising such events is to develop brotherhood, love, and peace & keeping youth away from the menace of drugs.
Moreover, Dy.SP Headquarters Ganderbal Shri Gh Hassan-JKPS, SHOs of PSs, other senior officers of Police and Civil Department & a good number of spectators were also present on the said occasion.KNZ
