Ganderbal 15 Sep:Today SSP Ganderbal Mr Fayaz Ahmad (K.P.S) initiated cleanliness drive at DPL Ganderbal by Picking up the broom to clean the dirt and making Swachh Bharat Abhiyan a movement across the rest police stations/posts of the district.Many officers/jawans of the district joined him.
While addressing the participants he said that the cleanliness drive will remain effected upto 2.Oct and to strengthen the police public relations during this period , cleanliness of all hospitals ,streets,foot-paths,river sides,main markets,public parks etc of district will be done by the police.
He further said that
he has directed all the officers of district to carry out cleanliness drives in there respective police stations/posts, he hopes that general public will also come forward and join their hands with police in this drive to make Ganderbal a neat & clean district of Jammu and Kashmir state .
He further added that Taking the broom to sweep the streets and surroundings, cleaning up the garbage, focussing on sanitation and maintaining a hygienic environment should be a daily practice of each of us.
