Reviewed functioning of police stations of Sub-division Kangan
Ganderbal 01 Feb:SSP Ganderbal Shri Sandeep Gupta-IPS along with SDPO Kangan Shri Muzaffar Jan-JKPS visited far-flung areas of the District & took stock of preparedness of Police units in view of inclement weather conditions.
He visited the Police Stations of
Sub-Division Kangan & took stock of their function and winter preparedness.
As a gesture of relief to the general public, SSP Ganderbal interacted with the people of far flung areas & asked them that Ganderbal Police is always ready to extend cooperation & help to them.
Moreover, he took stock of the present situation and took first hand information about the situation arisen due to continuation snow fall.
He requested people not to venture out into such places which are full of risk and take all precautionary measures and help District Police as and when they face any exigency.
He further stated that Ganderbal Police has already issued emergency helpline Cell numbers across the District to facilitate the general public to seek help during an emergency arising due to adverse weather.
Moreover, SSP Ganderbal also interacted with the tourists at Sonamarg, Gagangeer & Gund, and ensured them of every possible assistance.
Further, SSP Ganderbal visited the Police Stations of Sub Division Kangan and took stock of the work & function of various units, where he interacted with the Officers & Jawans and asked them to work with dedication, zeal & zest. He further asked the officers to remain available round the clock for assistance of the Tourists & general public.
