Ganderbal 10 Aug【KNZ】:To review the security arrangements, Senior Superintendent Police Mr Khalil Poswal visited Baltal today and held a meeting of civil and paramilitary and police officials.
During the meeting interaction with SANJY-2018 yatra officers including line departments of civil administration, a detailed review also conducted about the security arrangements with commanders of various security forces viz-Army, CRPF, ITBP, NDRF and Police.
SSP Ganderbal stressed on having a close coordination among various forces to have better results during the Yatra. He also stressed on having regular meetings with all the stake holders to provide better services and assistance to the pilgrims.
Emphasis was given to sensitize the man power to remain extra vigilant during culmination phase of yatra and the upcoming ‘Independence Day’. All the agencies have exhibited excellent synergy in management/conduct of Yatra.KNZ
