Emphasizing the importance of responsible behavior on the road, he reminded everyone, “Always remember someone is waiting for you at home.”
Bilal Bhat highlighted the alarming rise in road accidents due to negligence and urged drivers, riders, and pedestrians alike to adhere to traffic rules, avoid over-speeding, and refrain from distractions such as mobile phone use while driving. He also reiterated the importance of wearing seat belts and helmets to prevent fatal injuries.
“Safety is not just a personal responsibility; it is a social duty. A small act of caution can save countless lives,” he said, while appreciating the ongoing efforts of the Traffic Police Department in Ganderbal for ensuring road safety.
