Ganderbal:- In a heartwarming display of appreciation, a group of stranded tourists has expressed their deepest gratitude to the residents of Gund, who selflessly provided them with shelter, food, and warmth during the recent snowfall.
The tourists, who were stuck in the Srinagar-Leh highway due to the closure of the road following heavy snowfall, were taken in by the residents of Gund, who opened their homes and hearts to them.
In an emotional outpouring, one of the tourists said, “We have a new life because of you. You people came as God for us. We are safe because of you people.”
The tourists, who were initially hesitant to accept the residents’ help, were eventually won over by their kindness and generosity. “We were strangers, but they treated us like family,” said another tourist. “They provided us with everything we needed, from food to shelter to medical aid.”
