Thanked District Administration for better facilities

Ganderbal, April 06: Four students, three from Ganderbal and one from Bandipora, who were quarantined as a precautionary measure for two weeks here in Government College of Physical Education Gadoora Ganderbal (Administrative Quarantine) have been sent back to their homes after the completion of 14 days’ quarantine period.
All these students were briefed by a team of doctors about the do’s and don’ts and other precautionary measures to be observed during the 14 days’ home quarantine period to be maintained with utmost care.
As a precautionary measure, as many as 22 students were quarantined after they arrived in the district from Bangladesh and other parts of country, including these four.
Before sending them back to their homes, they interacted with Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal and thanked District Administration for the hospitality and better facilities they were provided during the period of quarantine. The DC also complemented them for exhibiting a positive attitude and said landing in quarantine was in their interest.
The DC said that other people who are administrative quarantined will be sent back to their homes after completing two weeks’ time with a direction that they should quarantine themselves in their respective homes.
He further said that we have to break the chain and it is possible only when we maintain social distancing and stop coming out from our homes un-necessarily.
