Ganderbal 07 Aug【KNZ】:in the ongoing Syed jamuludin Bukhari (RA) T20 cricket tournament shallbugh ganderbal,
Today it was the of Sultan warriors to compete aganist K.C.C batwina.
Earlier the toss won by Sultan warriors and choose to bat first,batting first sultan warriors played sensible cricket and put a good total of 158 runs in their 20 overs,Rayees and Nayeem made 39 and 35 respectively for their team,the other batters also give their contribution to their team and were successful to put a good total for chase.
Chasing such a good total of 158 the batters of K.C.C batwina doesn’t show a good performance against great bowling side of sultan warriors,they kept losing the wickets and could only made 106 runs,and lost this match by huge margin of 52 runs.
Afaan,Yaseen,Ishfaq took three wickets each.
Mr Mehjoor Ali sofi was also playing today for sultan warriors who made a large no people to come and watch this match,Mehjoor Ali sofi is known as fastest bowler of J&k,he bowls at the speed of 145 km/hr..The crowd was happy on seeing jk’s fastest bowler bowling in front of them..
We must give credit to Mr sheikh Irfan from shallabugh who took a great step of organising such tournament where we could see J&k’s best and known players are playing…
