Srinagar, November 12(GNS): Ten days after Injured in a grenade blast near TRC Srinagar, 45 year-old Woman succumbed to her wounds in a hospital here on Tuesday.
The woman Abida, 45, wife of Zubair Ahmad Lone resident Sumbal Bandipora, was injured along with eleven other persons in a grenade blast during Sunday Market near TRC.
According to officials militants had hurled grenade towards mobile bunker of CRPF which missed the target and exploded on road abuzz with flea market customers.
The injured were shifted to nearby SMHS hospital where Abida Succumbed to the injuries around noon.
Confirming it, a police official told GNS that a case has already been registered in connection with the incident.
IGP Kashmir VK Birdi told a presser last week that three people have been arrested from Ikrajpora Rajbagh Srinagar in connection with incident.
A top police officer of the Kashmir said that the trio were associates of LeT oufit and had carried out the attack on the behest of handlers based in Pakistani.(GNS)
