Kargil, Dec 09: The 4th National Lok Adalat organized by Tehsil Legal Service Committee Zanskar was held today at Tourist Dak Bungalow Padum under the theme of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to access justice for all.
The program was attended by Sub Divisional Magistrate Zanskar, Sonam Dorjay, Assistant Public Prosecutor Lobzang Gaylack Munsiff Court Zanskar, Revenue and other related officers and officials.
In the Lok Adalat, a total of 13 cases under section 107 CRPC were heard and seven cases were disposed of. During the Lok Adalat fine of Rs 2500 was received from the defaulters.
The Police Department also put up Traffic challans and the Committee disposed of and fined the defaulters and received Rs 1000.
During the Lok Adalat, the chief guest and guest advised the public to knock the doors of courts for justice.
