Shopian 25 Nov : A Territorial Army man was killed and another injured in the ongoing gunfight in Kapran area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Four militants have been killed in the gunfight that broke out around 1:30 am.
A police official said that an army soldier of 162 BN Territorial Army, identified as Nazir Ahmad, was killed in the firefight going on in Batagund village.The slain, he said, was a resident of Kulgam district.
Another soldier, whose identity was not immediately known, was wounded in the gunfight that broke out after a joint team of the army, police and the CRPF launched a search operation in the village.(GK)
