Srinagar, Mar 24: Thousands of Muslim devotees thronged Mosques and Shrines across Kashmir who offered prayers on eve of first Friday of the holy month of Ramadhan.
Reports reaching said that thousands of devotees thronged Jama Masjid Srinagar for Friday prayers.
Meanwhile, huge gathering of devotees also offered Friday congregational prayers at Dargah Hazratbal.Srinagar police said the prayers concluded peacefully in all mosques across Srinagar.
“Friday afternoon Prayers on first Friday of the holy month of Ramzan concluded peacefully in all the mosques of Srinagar. At Jamia Masjid Nowhatta and Dargah Hazratbal around 18,000 & 50,000 devotees attended Friday prayers respectively,” Police tweeted.
