Srinagar:Government forces on Saturday killed all three militants trapped in a house in Chattabal area of Srinagar, a top official said.
IG CRPF Ravideep Sahi told Greater Kashmir that all three militants have been killed. “It was a difficult operation,” he said.
Their identity is being ascertained, he added.
The firefight broke out today morning after forces launched a search operation in Gasi mohalla following a tip-off about the presence of militants.
A civilian was also killed after a forces vehicle allegedly ran over him during clashes in Safa Kadal.
