Srinagar: A 40-year-old tourist was killed after a cloudburst struck at world’s famous health resort place Gulmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday late afternoon.
A senior police officer while confirming the incident told news agency Global News Service (GNS) that the incident occured at around 4:10 pm adjacent to Gulmarg Development Authority Club.
In the incident the tourist Mohd Saleem Zaki, a resident of Utter Pradesh (UP) came under the cloudburst.
Zaki was immediately evacuated to nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival
