Srinagar, December 19: In compliance to Hon’ble High Court directions, Traffic Police City Srinagar has seized more than 403 Sumo, Tavera, Xylo, Cabs who were found operating from the entry / exit points of the erstwhile Batamaloo Bus Stand since 5th of November 2017. Moreover, 40 Buses / Mini buses have been seized as well as route permit of 24 vehicles have also been cancelled which were found operating from the erstwhile Batamaloo Bus Stand for violating the Hon’ble High Court directions.
Traffic Police City Srinagar want to convey to all Sumo, Tavera, Xylo, Bus / Mini Bus operators that they should not operate from the entry / exit points of the erstwhile Batamaloo bus stand as Hon’ble High Court direction is clear that no PSV should operate from erstwhile Batamaloo Bus Stand.
By mean of this press release we want to communicate all PSV operators that they should not violate Hon’ble High Court orders and desist from operating from the erstwhile Batamaloo Bus stand or its entry / exit points as if any vehicle is found operating shall be seized immediately and can only be got released from Hon’ble High Court and even route permit shall be cancelled.
