Srinagar, Mar 22 (KB): A Tata Mobile vechile (JK13H 2006) loaded with vegetable goods from Udhampur suffered a horrific accident on NH-44 around Digdool Ramban, tumbling down into a deep gorge.
Both occupants of the vehicle died in the accident. The victims have been named Seva Singh and the driver, Irshad Ahmed, who were both locals of the Ukhral area, an official told news agency—Kashmir Bulletin.
Rescue teams comprising police, SDRF, and civil QRT reached the area, The rescue operation has now been completed, and the bodies have been recovered, he said.
The reason behind the accident is being probed by authorities, the official added.— (KB)
