Srinagar :Two yatris died and four others were injured, one of them critically, after rains triggered a landslide along the Baltal route of the ongoing Amarnath yatra in Kashmir Himalayas.
An official said that landslide triggered by heavy rains occurred mid-way between Brarimarg and Railpathri along the Baltal route leading to cave shrine today evening, resulting into death of two pilgrims and injuries to four others.
The injured yatris were shifted to a hospital for treatment where the condition of one of them is stated to be serious.
The teams of army, state police, SDRF and NDRF have reached at the spot, said the official.GK
