Bandipora, Feb 19 : Joint Forces arrested two suspects including a former militant along with two grenades in North Kashmir’s Bandipora distirct.
A police official said that after receiving specific information a special naka was laid near Papchan, Bandipora by SOG, 3 Battalion CRPF and soldiers from 14 Rashtriya Rifles.
During the checking, two suspects including a former militant Abid Hasan Waza (LeT) and Shabbir Ahmed Mir both residents of Bandipora were apprehended. Both were carrying a grenade. “The two grenades were seized from them,” the official said. (KNT)
