Srinagar, May 06: Suspected militants on Monday attacked another polling station with a bomb in Pulwama district in South Kashmir.
Reports reaching GNS said that unknown persons hurled the bomb on a polling booth stationed inside Goverment Higher secondary school Chatpora this afternoon.
The device exploded outside the wall of school. However there was no injury reported in the blast.
An official confirmed to GNS and said that hunt has been launched to nab persons involved in the attack.
Meanwhile suspected militants lobbed a grenade on a polling booth Tikan village in the southern district however the device didn’t explode. Police and bomb disposal squad immediately rushed to the spot and the device is being destroyed.(GNS)
