Srinagar Sep 8 :Six policemen, including two officers, were injured during clashes in Anantnag district of south Kashmir on Friday.

Earlier, protesters torched a police vehicle in Lal Chowk area of the district.
Reports said that policemen were thrashed by the protesters during clashes.
Hundreds of people staged a march in the town to demonstrate against the killing and persecution of Rohingya Muslims.
They were carrying banners with messages denouncing the killings of Muslims in Myanmar.
Reports said that forces resorted to teargas shelling and pellet firing to disperse the protesters, triggering massive clashes.
