Srinagar, July 21 (KS):- Two police officers from Pampore Police Station, Sub Inspector Abdul Qayoom and Constable Gulzar Ahmad, recently exemplified exceptional honesty and dedication to their duties.
The officers as per news agency Kashmir Scroll found a travel bag containing gold jewelry worth several lakhs and swiftly took action to ensure its safe return to its rightful owner.
The bag, misplaced by a traveler, was discovered by the officers during their routine duties. Recognizing the value and potential distress the loss could cause, they immediately took steps to locate the owner.
Through diligent efforts, they successfully identified and contacted the individual, ensuring the valuable items were returned intact.
The owner expressed immense gratitude for the officers’ integrity and prompt action, highlighting the importance of trust and reliability in law enforcement.(KS)
