Ganderbal: While taking cognizance of Viral videos Traffic police has seized two Scooties and Ganderbal police has registered FIR’s here on Tuesday.
Scooties bearing registration no: JK16B-9160 & JK16-B 9217 After the video of young boys performing Dare devil stunts somewhere in Ganderbal went viral on social media, which was not only risky for them but also endangered the lives of other people on road.
SSP Ganderbal Nikhil borker while talking to this reporter said we have registered FIR’s against them at the concerned Police station Kangan and Ganderbal.
SSP traffic rural talking to this reporter said, that both the scooties have been seized by our department, action under relevant sections of the MV act has also been taken, he added people should follow traffic rules, we will not tolerate any kind of traffic violation, he also advised parents not to provide vehicle or bikes to their young sons, and must strictly tell them not to use those for stents.
It’s pertinent to mention here that, in last three days, three motorcycles have been seized after their stunt videos went viral on social media and a passenger vehicle which was driven by a minor boy has also been seized by Traffic police and FIR’s have been registered by Ganderbal police at different police stations.
The general public of Ganderbal has appreciated the action of traffic police and Ganderbal police.
