BUDGAM DEC 07【KNZ】: Peoples from different areas of Beerwha today criticized the PDD department for its failure to provide uninterrupted power supply during the prevailing cold weather conditions despite repeated assurances about bringing an end to unscheduled power cuts.
The peoples alleged that on the one hand that department is collecting tariff from them and on the other hand it is imposing long duration power cuts, which can’t be tolerated any more particularly during the prevailing weather conditions.

The residents alleged that the power supply gets snapped during the night hours and the concerned official’s switch off their mobile phones to avoid responding to the quires raised the people on part of unscheduled power cuts during night.
A residents of different areas alleged that department is sold the electricity supply to firms and take extra money from firm owners they told that we approached the administration several times but in vane as those at the helm of affairs are turning a deaf ear to our plea.
When contacted Executive Engineer PDD through phone call but he didn’t receive our phone call and later on contact with Assistant Engineer PDD Mr Ab Jamaal beerwha and he use rude language and avoid responding to raised the queries on the part of unscheduled power cuts in beerwha sub division area of central Kashmir Budgam.
