Srinagar, July 29: A man with unstable mental condition was missing since last three months from Hawal area of Srinagar district. His family had done every possible thing to trace him but couldn’t get any success until one person namely Dr. Zahid who by profession is a Dentist came to their rescue.
While talking to Valepost Dr. Zahid told that while i was coming back from duty I spotted him near Sumbal.
Initially I could not recognise him because he had grown beard and hair in last few months. He is our neighbour and had came to know about his missing through newspapers and news channels.
I approached him and clicked a photo and send it to his acquaintances for confirmation.
It was like abducting some one on road. So I thought to keep him following in my car and meantime I kept calling people, Police and few friends till I got confirmation that I am following the right man.
Then I drove little fast and stopped the car and asked him “Do you want Wazwan”, he replied yes. I asked him to sit in the car and told him I will take u home for wazwan.
I drove quite fast and locked doors fearing he may jump from running car till I reached Hawal.
Finally handed him over to his family and informed police for legal formalities. While driving back I was fearing if I have picked the right man.
But God helped me in giving joy to his family. It was a scene worth watching when his family members saw him alive after months. Allah is great, Dr Zahid added.
