Srinagar, April 14 (KS) :- At least persons were injured after a footbridge collapsed during Baisakhi celebration in Udhampur district on Friday
An official told Kashmir scroll that a footbridge collapsed during the Baisakhi celebration at Beni Sangam in Bain village in Udhampur’s Chenani Block
He said that at least 62 people were injured during the incident who all were hospitalized.
He said that 62 people were injured while 25 were referred to the district hospital.
Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Krittika Jyotsna told Kashmir Scroll that the evacuation was done in half an hour and five injured people in critical condition were referred to Jammu—(KS)
