Shopain:Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Muneer Khan said that a soldier was killed in the ongoing gunfight.
An army man was killed and four others injured during a gunfight in Awneera village of Shopian in south Kashmir on Saturday, police said.
Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Muneer Khan said that a soldier was killed in the ongoing gunfight.
“We have lost one soldier. Four others have been injured,” he said.
Meanwhile, a fierce exchange of gunfire is going on between holed-up militants and government forces.
