Srinagar: The traffic Police Srinagar on Wednesday said that the license of the drivers using mobile phones while driving will be suspended.
According to the statement issued to media, the traffic police said that this is to inform to all the general public that using cell phone while driving is prohibited under law and Supreme Court Committee has directed the concerned department that “Driving License of the violators be suspended for a period not less than 03 months under section 19 of Motor Vehicle Act, 1988 read with Rule, 21of Central Motor Vehicles Rule, 1989.
