SOPORE, 11 August : A joint team of forest protection force and control room watergam Rafiabad on Wednesday morning seized a Tata mobile vehicle carrying illicit timber at Budden area of Rafiabad in north kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Forest official said that after receiving specific information about the movement of illicit produce they laid a nakka at Budden area and seized a load carrier vehicle with out a number plate loaded with illicit timber was intercepted. The driver of the vehicle fled from the spot and the vehicle was seized by forest officials. The vehicle was searched and was found loaded with timber slots 19 no’s of 27 cfts, official said.
He said that they has taken up the matter with police authorities for further investigation.
