GANDERBAL, November 25:- The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) commenced today in various Panchayats of block Gund where locals received the information and education about various schemes with much enthusiasm and fervor.
The Panchayats where the Yatra commenced today include Sonamarg-A, Sonamarg-B, Frawhaqnar-A, Frawhaqnar-B, Gund-A and Gund-B
The Yatra has been rolled out with the intention to reach out to the unreached population, and aware the general masses about the multitude of government schemes including Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM PRANAM Yojana and Urea Subsidy Scheme and the process to avail benefits.
An overwhelming response was witnessed from the locals who gathered at the event and enthusiastically listened to the recorded message from the Prime Minister of India regarding the campaign.
Pertinently, the main objectives of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is to reach the unreached and cover them under the Government welfare and flagship schemes to achieve saturation.
Furthermore, campaign seeks to raise awareness through outreach activities covering all Panchayats and Municipal Wards of the District in order to benefit citizens from the Government schemes.
At Panchayat Halqa Sonamarg-A, ACD Ganderbal, who is also the District Nodal Officer for VBSY, along with CPO Ganderbal & CMO Ganderbal, attended the event.
