SRINAGAR, Jan 18, KDC: Father of PDP youth president Waheed Parra has passed away. Ghulam Ahmad Parra has been battling cancer for more than one year. He was 62.
Parra was a model apple grower in his area. He is survived by three sons and a daughter. The minor son of his daughter is currently admitted at AIIMS New Delhi and has been in a coma for the last two months.
According to news agency Kashmir Dot Com Parra’s funeral prayers are slated to take place at 1:00 pm at Naira in Pulwama.
For the last year, Parra was moving from one hospital to another after he was detected with fourth-stage metastatic squamous cell carcinoma.
Pertinently, authorities prevented his son from accompanying him to the hospitals in Mumbai. (KDC)
