ANANTNAG Dec 10【KNZ】: Angry residents of wangus Shagus staged demonstrations in protest against acute scarcity of drinking water and failure of the PHE Department to meet the requirement of the people
Scores of residents today evening protested against acute shortage of drinking water, reports said.
Reports said that due to alleged mismanagement of the PHE Department, the water crisis has deepened in Wangus Shagus , forcing the people to come out on streets to lodge protest
The agitating people also accused the department of giving preferential treatment to certain areas at the cost of deserving ones.
Later on MLA Shangus Gulzar Ahmad Wani visit the spot and he told News Agency “Kashmir News Zone” that the problem will be solve as soon as possible and the peoples of the area will be provide pure drinking water.【KNZ】
