01 Jan: Mostly dry weather is expected across J&K. There is a possibility of a snow spell in higher reaches of Kupwara, Bandipora, Baramulla, and Ganderbal districts.

02 Jan: From around 12 a.m. onwards, the Western Disturbance is expected to bring snowfall to higher reaches of Kashmir. On this day, snowfall is also expected in some plains of Kashmir. North Kashmir will be most affected. Impact will be comparatively lesser in parts of central and south Kashmir.

03 Jan: Mostly dry weather is expected across J&K. A short spell can occur in a few spots.

04 Jan: Mostly dry weather is expected across J&K. A short spell can occur in a few spots, particularly in higher altitudes.
Western Disturbance may get active towards evening/night.

05 – 06 Jan: Weather pattern remains uncertain. A spell or multiple spells of rain/snow are possible. The higher temperatures during these days may even bring rainfall to Kashmir plains in the initial stage if a spell occurs during the day. Hence, it is difficult to estimate the snow intensity for plains as of now.

07 Jan: In a few parts, the spell may extend to this day, or the weather will be completely dry.

08 – 10 Jan: Dry weather is expected.
