A strong Western disturbance is approaching J&K. Its impact will start from today’s afternoon/late afternoon. There will be heavy snowfall in Kashmir’s higher reaches. People living there are requested to take care. In Kashmir’s plains, there will be heavy rain along with snowfall. If the temperature drops quickly, there are chances of good snow accumulation.
In Jammu’s higher reaches, there will be heavy snowfall, and in plains areas, there will be heavy rain along with thunderstorms and lightning. Ramban, Reasi, Udhampur, Bhaderwah, Kishtwar, and Doda will be severely affected.
In Ladakh, there will be good snowfall, including Kargil, Leh, Drass, and Zojila. Snowfall accumulation in these areas can range from 2 to 5 feet. Please take care and stay indoors.
