An active western disturbance is approaching in jammu and kashmirfrom tomorrow afternoon and the System will persist over jammu and kashmir till 26th may, under its Influence Moderate to heavy rainfall Expected in widespread places of kashmir and also in jammu , while light snowfall may occur at higher reaches of kashmir.
Main intensity from 23 night till 24 evening.on 25& 26th may there is also possibility of rain/thunderstorm along with Hailstorm at many places of Jammu and Kashmir.
There is a possibility of Light snowfall over higher reaches especially:
Peer ke gali, Margan top, sinthan top ,Gurez , Razdan top Sadhna top Karnah-Kupwara, Zojila,
Intermittent moderate to heavy rainfall Expected in jammu and kashmir during tomorrow late afternoon – 26th may .
No continuous precipitation/rainfall is expected during above period.

1 Shooting stones at vulnerable areas of jammu _ sgr , national highway due to heavy Rainfall
2 Farmers are advised to suspend agriculture activities and do not spray orchards till 26th may .
3 Drop in day temperatures significantly across Jammu and Kashmir.
