“Says, let’s wait for the results; only then can we decide who will be the CM”
Srinagar, 5 Oct (KB): National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah on saturday said that his party will not allign with Bhartiya Janta Party saying that whoever does their funeral will be taken out.
Farooq Abdullah while talking reporters in Srinagar as per news agency Kashmir Bulletin said, votes are in the box, on 8th October you will know exactly what is in and what is out, who has got the majority, who has not got the majority, so let’s wait.
I don’t believe in the exit poll at all, i have never believed in them and i will never believe it, it’s all speculation and i don’t agree with it, he said.
On being asked whether who will be the CM candidate Farooq said, we are jumping the gun, let’s first see the results, then they will sit down and will decide who will be the CM, you have to wait for it.
On being asked whether he is confident of NC-Cong forming a new government, Farooq responded, still if you get a majority, nobody knows who will stand where, i again say, we will have to wait.
On being asked if there will be a fractured mandate will his party align with BJP Farooq said, we can’t go with the BJP because we have taken votes from people against BJP, they BJP are doing everything against muslims burning Masjids, Quran, you do think we will go with them? And whoever goes with them (BJP) their funeral (Janaza) will be taken out, Farooq said. (KB)
