In a tragic incident a retired police official shot dead his daughter in law in Poochal area on the outskirts of Kishtwar town.
As per the details available,Chuni Lal, a retired police personnel killed his Daughter in Law Vaneeta Devi by shooting her with his licensed weapon and the reason behind is killing is yet to be ascertained. The incident took place during mid night when whole village was sleeping.
After listening about the incident, villagers rush to the spot and brought the matter into the notice of police.
Police officials confirm the incident and, added that the accused has been arrested beside the dead body has been shifted to Kishtwar Hospital. Police said that the investigation has been initiated to ascertain the reasons that lead to the incident.
